Blended Learning
: This group discusses requirements for the successful implementation of blended learning scenarios, exchanges views on the broad spectrum of design options, and on good practices. The concept of blended learning aims to effectively combine classroom and independent learning phases, focuses on student-centred teaching-learning settings, and offers a flexibly adaptable model for all forms of digital and digitally-supported teaching.
Research-Based Learning
: In this group we explore how research-based learning as a form of teaching and learning can encourage students to conduct their own research, i.e., to go through their own research process within the learning setting. We exchange experiences on different didactic possibilities and focus on the different phases of the research cycle with the respective challenges and corresponding approaches.
Internationalisation in Teaching Projects
: We promote communication about innovative ideas, current projects, and good practices in which international dimensions and perspectives are considered in teaching. Topics include challenges and potentials, international case studies, and teaching collaborations with international partner universities.
Stud.IP Experts
: With the Stud.IP Experts we bring together teachers at the TU Braunschweig who use Stud.IP for innovative teaching purposes and, in doing so, repeatedly test the possibilities and limitations of the system. The aim is to create a space for exchange, in which innovative teaching ideas and implementation possibilities can be discussed, but also in which future and scenarios for Stud.IP can be actively developed and designed.
Virtual Reality/Augmented Reality
: Virtual and augmented reality can be used to expand knowledge transfer through media. At the TU Braunschweig, the CarolAR app in particular offers teachers the opportunity to implement various forms of mobile learning using new GPS and 3D functions. In this group, we discuss the use and challenges of VR and AR in your teaching and encourage you to benefit from the experiences of other teachers.
